BVHS Evaluations Policy and Guidelines
BVHS is committed to providing players with an opportunity to grow as individuals and gain self-esteem through a positive hockey experience that emphasizes fun, participation, development, safety and respect.
Grievances
Effective the 2024-2025 Season there are no Grievances.
U15 Pathway Sessions
The U15 Pathway Sessions provide players with the opportunity to take part in three development sessions run by BVHS Coaches prior to taking part in the Skills Session # 1. These sessions are 100% optional to attend.
Skill Testing Information
The U15 age group will do the following drills for skills testing:
- Transition Skate with Puck
- Transition Skate without Puck
- 75 Foot Skate Forwards with Puck
- 75 Foot Skate Forwards without Puck
- 75 Foot Skate Backwards without Puck
- 75 Foot Skate Backwards with Puck
- Agility Weave without Puck Forwards
- Agility Weave with Puck Forwards

These drills are provided by World Pro. World Pro run our goalie evaluations.

U15 Schedule
Please note the schedules may change prior to and or during evaluations.
The BVHS website will be updated each night by 12:00 am. It is your responsibility to check the website to confirm your child's ice times for their next session. We will be posting the Evaluation Groupings on the website.
BVHS Evaluations Meeting
BVHS will be hosting an Evaluations Meeting on Sept 4, 2023 at 8:00pm via Zoom to go over the Evaluations Process.
U15 Groupings
Parents will receive an email prior to Aug 30, 2024 outlining their child's Group for the Pathways Sessions.
Parents will receive an email prior to Sept 12, 2024 outlining their child's group for the Skills Session # 1.

Final Placements and Coach Selections
The teams will be finalized on Sept 26, 2024.
Coaches will be selected and contacted on or before Sept 27, 2024.
Players will be contacted by their respective Head Coaches by Sept 27, 2024.
Practices could start as early as Sept 28, 2024.
