BVHS Spring Academy
BVHS is excited to announce that we will be offering a Spring Academy Program (in partnership with Morgan Hockey). This program will have a primary focus on developing the players skill sets in an environment that challenges each participant, yet allows for optimal growth through a positive and fun learning environment. This camp will be lots of fun and its guaranteed to prepare our participants for the 2024-2025 Season.
The Spring Academy will work on the fundamentals; power skating, edge control, stick handling, over speed training, small area games, passing, battle/compete, shooting and scoring.
Goalies will receive 10 minutes of goalie specific training each ice time.
Instructors
Each of our camps will be instructed by experienced instructors who have the knowledge, passion and abilities to effectively and efficiently teach your son or daughter. We guarantee a 1 to 6 ratio for instructors to participants, which ensures your son or daughter is receiving ample instruction and feedback throughout the course of the program.
Age Groups
The Academy will be offered to five age groups; U7, U9, U11, U13, and U15 Age Groups.
Players should register in the Age Groups they will be playing in for the 2024-2025 Season.
Location
The 2024 Spring Academies will take place at the Seton YMCA. The schedules are outlined below by each age groups respective program.
Seton YMCA location at 4995 Market Street SE, Calgary, AB.
Spring Academy Registration
The cost of the Academy is $375 + Service Fees for players and $199 + Service Fees for Goalies.
The registration fees include:
- 10 Ice Times
- Water Bottle
- Practice Jersey
Please note that this is not a Learn to Skate Program. Players must be able to skate and do drills on their own.

U9 Spring Academy - Group A
Birth Years: 2017 and 2016 Birth Years

Ice Times: 6:15 pm - 7:15 pm

Ice Times: 8:45 pm - 9:45 pm.

This program will be limited to 12 Forwards, 8 Defence and 2 Goalies.
